Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City reúne as duas expansões do aclamado GTA IV. O pacote inclui The Lost and Damned, lançado originalmente em fevereiro de 2009, e The Ballad of Gay Tony, de outubro do mesmo ano.
Em The Lost and Damned, o jogador encarna Johnny Klebitz, um motoqueiro da gangue The Lost que acaba se desentendo com o chefe do grupo, Billy, que acaba de retornar de uma clínica de reabilitação.
O jogador conta com várias novidades, como armas, novas estações de rádio, DJs, localizações e muito mais. Além disso, o título também traz modos multiplayer inéditos e ajustes na jogabilidade que se adéquam a proposta do título. Sim, você e sua gangue andarão pelas ruas de Liberty City e o trabalho em equipe está muito maior.
Por outro lado, The Ballad of Gay Tony traz um clima muito mais festeiro, como o próprio título sugere. Mas, nem tudo é alegria. No game, você encarna Luis Lopez, o guarda-costas do rei das baladas de Liberty City, conhecido com Gay Tony. Após uma série de gafes, Luis acaba tendo que fazer o trabalho sujo, conversando com criminosos perigosos e arriscando a própria vida.
Novamente, existem diversas novidades em relação a GTA IV. Talvez a mais impactante seja a possibilidade de saltar de para-quedas, participando de desafios extras e das próprias missões da extensa campanha — ambas as expansões contam com aproximadamente 12 horas de jogo cada.
Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City está disponível para Xbox 360, e também no PS3 e PC a partir de março de 2010.
